However, if a player decides to buy LotRO gold from a gold shop website, he or she does not violate the actual standard code, but he or she has conducted an unethical act whence such acts has been compared to the typical player's method for gold acquisition. Anyhow, if a player has decided that they will buy LotRO gold, they are faced with a certain unavoidable risk: the chance of being scammed by a fraud shop. In other words, once he or she has made payment to the site, the agreed amount of gold to be transfer does not arrive at all. Many people have been scammed in the past because the purchase of MMORPG gold is considered an illegitimate act and therefore should not be mentioned to public ears in the first place. The person who has been scammed cannot report to anyone about this except maybe through comments in blogs and websites to warn others not to fall into the same trap.
